President Igor Dodon on September 20 received the credentials of five new ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
These are: Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Ganninger, Ambassador of Sweden Anna Lyberg, Ambassador of Lithuania Kęstutis Kudzmanas, Ambassador of Portugal with residence in Bucharest Fernando Manuel de Jesus Teles Fazendeiro, and Ambassador of Sudan with residence in Bucharest Abdelhafiz Elawad Seedahmed Alfaki.
In a discussion with the ambassadors, President Dodon expressed his interest in developing and intensifying efficient relations of cooperation with the states they represent. “I expressed my conviction that the accreditation of the new ambassadors will give a new impetus to the diplomatic, economic and political relations between our states. I wished the diplomats success in performing their duties, assuring them of the full support of the presidential institution,” the President wrote on his Facebook page.
