The Moldova-Romania interministerial working group will meet in Bucharest on Tuesday to discuss progress on the mutual agreements reached during Prime Minister Maia Sandu’s visit to Romania earlier this month.
According to a press release from the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, “the agenda of the meeting includes discussions to intensify Moldovan-Romanian relations with a view to promoting bilateral projects of common interest.”
The Moldovan delegation will be represented by Andrei Nastase, Deputy Prime Minister and also Minister of the Interior; Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Georgeta Mincu, Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment; Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, Minister of Education, Culture and Research; and Ala Nemerenco, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection. The officials will be accompanied by experts from the Ministries and the State Chancellery.
