After the criminal proceedings were started, several of the victims used their right to demand moral reparations between 300,000 and 350,000 lei. The traffickers and their accomplices communicated via Internet. They sent the girls’ files with attached photos. One of the organizers of the groups is the interim leader of the enterprise “Household utilities Cahul”. The other suspects will be prosecuted separately, while the investigators try to discover their location and to identify the other victims, at least 14. Currently, 4 of 5 the accused are in custody.
