Five public health facilities of Moldova will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment purchased with non-reimbursable financial support provided by the Government of Japan. The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the signing of the agreement on the implementation of the Program to Strengthen the Health System, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, the program will help improve the diagnosis and treatment capacities by using modern medical devices, such as digital X-ray machines, echography machines, dialysis machines, ventilators, anesthesia machines and surgical tables.
By signing the agreement signed by exchange of notes between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Japan, it will be possible to use the financial assistance in the form of a grant to the value of 1 billion Japanese yen, which is equal to over €7 million.
