Five houses were flooded in Zarnesti village of Cahul district as a result of the latest rain. Two houses were damaged, IPN has learned from the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service.
Rescuers from Cahul travelled to the scene with four units of transport and two motor pumps. During the day, they will carry out pumping works to remove the water.
A portion of about 400 meters of the R 34 road between Zarnesti and Tretesti villages of Cahul district was flooded last night. Two units of transport with three occupants got stuck in the water. A rescuers team towed them out at about 2am.
