The motorists who intend to leave the country are urged to avoid five border crossing points due to the unfavorable meteorological conditions. Four of them are situated at the border with Ukraine, while another one is at the border with Romania, IPN reports.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informed the Border Police of Moldova that the roads to Odessa and Cetatea Alba are snowy and were temporarily closed. The participants in transfrontier traffic should avoid the border crossing points “Palanca - Udobnoe”, “Tudora - Starokazacie”, “Mirnoe - Tabaki” and “Ceadar Lunga- Maloiaroslavets 1”.
The exit roads of the Romanian town Galati are also blocked. The traffic participants are advised to avoid travelling to Romania through the border crossing point “Giurgiulesti – Galati”.
