First Youth Center restored in Sipoteni village

The first Youth Center of the republic is restored in Sipoteni village of Calarasi raion. This locality is one of those 12 winners of the resources distribution contest worth about 1,6 million dollars, planned this year in the State Budget for restoring youth centers and managed by the Social Investment Funds of Moldova (FISM). According to FISM press release, the renewal program of the Youth Centers is implemented in partnership with the raion council and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which has drafted 3 activity regimes, furniture and equipping of youth centers; thus, localities should choose what they consider more important for the community’s inhabitants. Each locality contributes to implementing the projects with 15% of their costs. At the moment, the total collected contribution gets over 2,700,000 lei.
