The first votes at polling places established outside Moldova’s borders for the presidential runoff were cast in Beijing, China, after 1pm, Moldova’s time, CEC president Alina Russu told a news conference centering on the voting process, quoted by IPN.

Alina Russu said the Moldovan voters in Russia, Italy and Romania are the most active ones.

About 10,400 Moldovans voted abroad by 10:15am. A number of 100 polling places were established abroad for the runoff, as for the first round of elections.
