The Cabinet of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, will convene on January 15 for its first meeting of the year, IPN reports.
The agenda for the meeting includes about 30 projects, with the first item traditionally focusing on human resources. Among the projects is the approval of the Nuclear and Radiological Accidents Preparedness and Response Plan. The government is also set to approve the Regulation on the Operation of the Rapid Information Exchange System for Hazardous Products.
The government will amend the Regulation on the Registration of Civil Aircraft and the Administration of the National Aircraft Register of Moldova. Another project concerns the provision of textbooks for students. Additionally, the State Control Schedule for 2025 regarding the activities of industrial park residents will be approved.
The Cabinet will decide on the initiation of negotiations for a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of the United Arab Emirates regarding the mutual recognition and conversion of driving licenses and will authorize the official delegation for the negotiations.
The last government meeting of 2024 took place on December 30.
