The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informed about the first case of death among children confirmed with the novel coronavirus. This is a girl aged 15 from the municipality of Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry, the girl was admitted to the National Clinical Hospital in critical condition on August 31. She suffered from comorbidities, such as severe viral hepatitis, kidney failure and stroke.
Ten persons lost the battle with COVID-19 on September 4, taking the death toll to 1,047.
As many as 534 new infections were confirmed today, with seven of these beige import cases, after doing 2,572 tests, 216 of which rerun ones.
Of all the patients with COVID-19, 561 are in a series state and 29 of them were put on a ventilator.
Moldova by now has got 38,906 cases of COVID-19. A number of 10,418 cases remain active.
