The State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu”, in cooperation with SRL “Dansicons”, inaugurated a group of apartment buildings in the residential complex “Nicolae Testemitanu”. The construction of the blocks that were put in commission on August 10 lasted for two years and was completed by several months earlier than initially scheduled, IPN reports.
There were finished the first eight blocks of the tranches 1, 2, 3. The works on the blocks of the tranches 4, 5, 6 and 7 go on. When they are over, about 1,000 families will be provided with dwellings, 40% of which are families of medical personnel working at “Nicolae Testemitanu” University, the Ministry of Health, the Healthy Division of the Chisinau City Hall, scientific research and public medical-sanitary institutions.
In the ceremony, it was mentioned that the initiative to build a residential complex intended mainly for representatives of the medical guilt was put forward by the rector of “Nicolae Testemitanu” University Ion Ababii. He congratulated the first beneficiaries of the project and wished them good luck in their new homes.
Attending the event, Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca approved of the fact that the first blocks were finished earlier than planned. “The blocks were to be ready in November or December, but “Dansicons” made effort for the families to be able to move earlier,” he stated.
The event was also attended by ex-Premier Vlad Filat, who heads the Liberal Democratic Party. The official said that this project forms part of a nice partnership and wished happiness to the dwellers of the new homes.
“Two tears ago, I came to this plot with the intention to implement this project. Now we see the results. The objective was achieved. I wish all the dwellers happiness,” said the executive director of “Dansicons” Valentin Brashovschi, before the first beneficiaries received the keys to their apartments.
The project to build the residential complex “Nicolae Testemitanu” started in 2010, based on a Government Decision on the development of the infrastructure of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu”.
