First block within First House project may be erected on Ghioceilor St

The Chisinau City Hall is looking for partners that would invest money in the social mortgage project First House. Apartments for young persons, budget-funded employees and deprived families will be built under the project. Only Banca Comerciala Romana (“Romanian Commercial Bank”) accepted the Chisinau administration's invitation so far, said deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The first apartment building may be erected on Ghioceilor St in Buicani district. By 200-300 apartments will be built every year. A square meter of apartment will cost €500 – 550 if the prices of building materials remain unchanged. The one-room apartments will be up to 30 square meters in area, the two-room ones - 60 square meters, while the three-room ones – up to 80 square meters. The local authorities intend to negotiate loans with the banks for up to 25 years at an interest rate of not more than 10%.
