For the first time in Moldova, a bank was issued with the certificate ISO 9009:2008. Mobiasbanca was certified in quality management. In the reception held to celebrate this event, Mobiasbanca – Group Société Générale president Ridha Tekaia said the company’s personnel had to change their mentality and devoted all their attention to the clients in order to receive this certificate, IPN reports.
Ridha Tekaia said that during the 23 years of the foundation, Mobiasbanca has always focused on the clients’ interests and he is thus proud to announce that the bank received the ISO certificate that confirms the employees’ readiness to make the institution better, with the most advantageous services.
Attending the reception, Deputy Minister of Economy Octavian Calmic said the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Trade and Industry are thoroughly selecting the companies that are ready to implement the international standards according to the ISO certificate. He said that Mobiasbanca is a pioneer in obtaining this certificate and voiced hope that its implementation will bring benefits to the bank.
National Bank governor Dorin Dragutan approved of the fact that a bank based in Moldova received the ISO certificate. “We have only four purely foreign banks in Moldova and Mobiasbanca is the largest of them. It’s good that the certificate made the employees change their mentality. The bank will see what it gained when its clients will be more and more satisfied with its services,” he stated, urging Mobiasbanca to make public the results achieved owing to this certificate.
The ISO certificate confirms the observance of certain commitments by the organization to which it is issued. In the case of Mobiasbanca, the commitments refer to the quality of services and the obligations resulting from the relationship with the clients, like the fulfillment of the contract conditions.
