The first Baccalaureate exam in the language of learning began without incidents this morning. The exam started at 9am and will last for three astronomic hours. Valentina Miron, deputy head of the Education Ministry’s Assessment and Examination Agency, has told Info-Prim Neo that the part of the envelope that was to be cut was announced at 9.00. Part No. 2 was cut at the first exam this year. Angela Starinski, spokeswoman for the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, said the institution’s officers are monitoring the exam from the office and will intervene if they receive calls through the hotline. The hotline 257 257 can be used to report cases of corruption. The Center asks those who will report irregularities identified during the exams to cooperate with the anticorruption officers in investigating the cases. Over 31,000 students will take Baccalaureate exams this year at 175 Baccalaureate centers.
