Fires cause new victims

One person was killed, while another one got poisoned in fires in Calarasi district on Sunday, February 28. Dorina Cruc, press officer with the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that an 80-year-old man died in a fire in his house in Chircaiesti village of Calarasi district. The man was found dead in his bed destroyed by flames.
A man aged 52 fell asleep with the burning cigarette in his home in Calarasi town. He was saved, but was taken to the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning.
Twelve fires occurred in Moldova on February 28.
