Firemen will compete in applicative sports

The XI firemen Championship of applicative sports in the honor of the Veaceslav Matailo fireman, fallen on duty, post-mortem chevalier of the ”Stefan cel Mare” distinction, will take place in Chisinau on September 8-9. According to the Press Center of the Department of Exceptional Situations, the championship will be attended by firemen crews selected from previous competitions, and they will compete in 5 disciplines. On September 8 at the ”Dinamo” stadium the 4 x 100 relay and the 100 meters with hurdles runs will take place. In the same day, at the no. 3 Firemen Unity from Buiucani region, situated on 27 Martie 1918 Street no. 17, the competitors will climb the 4 floor training tower. The competitions will continue September 9 at the same firemen unit, after which the competitors will take part in fire extinction exercises. The official opening of the championship will take place on September 8, at 10:00 at the “Dinamo” stadium.
