A man died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a fire in Drochia town.
Dorina Cruc, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the fire broke out in an annexe on January 14. The firefighters found the body of the man aged 64 inside the building. The fire caused damage estimated at 5,000 lei.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the 73 fires that happened this year resulted in 13 deaths.
