Fire breaks out in downtown Chisinau

A major fire broke out on Tuesday, July 17, at around 12:00 on Bulgara Street, 107, in the vicinity of the Central Market. According to the Emergency Situations Department, the fire started at some depots storing paint and industrial commodities.
The flames spread out on a surface of about 200 square metres. 40 firefighters on 11 fire vehicles responded to the incident. Fortunately, no casualty was registered.
The authorities started an investigation into the causes of the fire.
Minding the hot weather, the city authorities call on all the residents and legal entities to take all the measures to prevent accidents.
