By the end of this year, every apartment building manager is to bring the fire alarm systems in order. Otherwise, they will face penalties – from warnings to halt in their work, IPN reports.
Iurie Gustiuc, head of the Chisinau Emergencies Division, said the companies are not issued with authorization for continuing the construction works on apartment buildings if they do not built anti-fire systems. Problems appear in the old buildings.
According to Iurie Gustiuc, if the term for removing the problems identified by the Emergencies Division is not respected, there are imposed fines. Prophylaxis works are now performed in a number of blocks of Chisinau.
