Tax inspectors carried out inspections at economic entities transporting passengers and baggage and imposed fines of 728,800 lei on them for the identified irregularities, IPN reports.
According to a communique of the State Tax Service, among the most frequent violations are the non-use of cash register, non-indication of all the incomes in the accounting documents, non-employment of all the drivers officially, and carrying out of entrepreneurial activity without being registered at the State Registration Chamber or another competent public authority.
The State Tax Service initiated a series of inspections in a bid to identify cases of tax evasion among carriers of passengers and baggage.
