Financial education activities on occasion of World Savings Day

The National Bank of Moldova on October 31 opens its doors to the public eager to learn about the central bank, the history of the national currency and other interesting things in the financial world. These are financial education activities for students organized on the occasion of World Savings Day, IPN reports.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the exhibition hall where the collection of commemorative and jubilee coins issued by the National Bank is presented and to admire the monetary art objects dedicated to personalities, events and cultural-historical monuments of Moldova. They will also be able to listen to a brief history about the emergence of the Moldovan leu and see a presentation about the safety signs of the national currency.

Access to the bank will allowed according to the list, upon the presentation of the identity document. Those interested should send a request to the email address edufin@bnm.md.

The visits will be scheduled on the hour at the NBM headquarters located at 1 Grigore Vieru Blvd in Chisinau.
