The reimbursable financial assistance for refugees and beneficiaries of humanitarian protection in 2015 will be 675 lei a month, which is 15% of the average monthly official salary (projected at 4,500 lei this year), IPN reports, quoting a decision approved by the Government.
The assistance is paid during at most six months. The potential beneficiaries must submit an application and must pledge to pay back the received sum.
In 2014, there were filed 36 applications for reimbursable financial assistance. Thirty of them were accepted, three are being examined, while three were rejected. During the year, assistance stopped to be provided in 13 cases for the reason that the persons left Moldova’s territory.
