The financial assistance for persons with pensions lower than 1,300 lei, for April inclusive, will reach the recipients in May, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the persons with integral old-age pension will receive 90 lei, while those with incomplete pension - 50 lei. Those who receive disability pensions will be paid by 90, 60 and 50 lei, depending on the gravity of the disability. The financial assistance for persons who receive state allowances, except for care allowance and death benefit, will be 50 lei.
The pensions of those who took part in the Chernobyl cleanup will be increased by 8.25% if they are lower than 1,300 lei after they are increased on April 1. The pensions of servicemen and employees of the Ministry of the Interior’s troops and command body will be raised by 10.4% if they are under 1,300 lei after increased.
On April 1, all the types of state social insurance pensions, including the old-age and disability ones, and the pensions of the citizens engaged in the Chernobyl cleanup were raised by 6.75%.
In Moldova there are about 650,000 persons who receive pensions. Almost 500,000 of them receive old-age pension.
