Financial assistance for family of boy killed in traffic accident

The Chisinau City Hall will provide financial support to the family of the boy who died in a road accident in the capital city on September 18, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca made an order to this effect in the September 19 meeting of City Hall officials. He requested the municipal police to take drastic measures against the drivers who break the traffic rules. The 12-year-old boy was struck fatally by a Ford driven by a man aged 21 when he was riding his bike. He was returning from the VeloHora Festival. The accident happened on Albisoara St at about 14.40. The boy died on the spot.
