The depositors of “Banca de Economii” born before 1991 inclusive, who filed applications to get the indexed sums before the end of 2021, can collect the sums indexed at the first and second stages. The Ministry of Finance started to pay the indexed amounts on April 27. The money can be collected at any local office or agency of Moldova’s Post Office, IPN reports.
The depositors who didn’t file an application to get the indexed sums can do this at any office or agency of Moldova’s Post Office. They need to have IDs and the savings card for accounts opened before January 1, 1992 on them.
A sum of 86 million lei was earmarked in the 2022 state budget for paying the indexed amounts.
