The MPs gave a final reading to a package of laws that offer foreign citizens conditions similar to those enjoyed by the citizens of the Republic of Moldova as regards the access to medical services and the labor market, IPN reports.
The foreigners who stay in the Republic of Moldova on a permanent basis and the beneficiaries of international protection will be included in the list of payers of mandatory health insurance that insure themselves individually. Also, the given foreigners will be able to get unemployment benefit on condition they worked and had a contributory period of at least 12 months during 24 calendar months prior to the registration.
The bill stipulates a series of technical adjustments aimed at standardizing the terminology used in normative documents.
