Final exam period has closed in Chisinau

Final examination period came to an end in Chisinau. The appeals for the XI – XII graders are being made and should finalise on July 9, 2007. The head of the Education, Youth and Sports Department of the City Council, Tatiana Nagnibeda, stated during the July 2 mayoral operational meeting, that 10288 students completed the gymnasium cycle, 3706 students completed the general knowledge state schools cycle, while 5908 students completed the baccalaureate cycle. All primary and secondary education establishments in Chisinau are currently preparing for a new academic year. Nagnibeda stated that repair works are completed at 50% and that there are no problems that might pose obstacles for these to be brought to an end.
