During the last two years, the Transnistrian conflict has turned from a joint national task into a private matter when persons from Chisinau and Tiraspol want to improve the personal relations,” he said. Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the leader of the breakaway republic Igor Smirnov will have an informal meeting in Germany this weekend, on the sidelines of an international conference centering on the measures to build confidence between the banks of the Nistru.
