Filat goes to Kazakhstan on official visit

On June 2 Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat will make an official visit to the Kazakh capital, Astana, where he will meet with his Kazakh counterpart, with the country's president and with other officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Kazakhstan is an important economic partner of Moldova; we will discuss ways of boosting trade, removing existing barriers and of diversifying exports. We also have a 2 million dollar historical debt that we owe to Kazakhstan. I hope we can reach an agreement on that issue”, said Vlad Filat. Kazakhstan is the current holder of the OSCE presidency and this will be an additional opportunity to discuss the Transnistrian settlement, added the prime minister.
