About 40 young persons staged a flashmob meeting in front of the Palace of the Republic on Thursday morning, chanting “Filat, don’t be a bin! Respect the Alliance!”, “Filat, don’t betray the AEI”, Info-Prim Neo reports. They gathered together 15 minutes before the Parliament’s meeting and chanted messages addressed to Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM). They brought garbage bins of green color, which is the color of the PLDM, filled with bags of red color, which is the color of the Communist Party, suggesting a possible coalition between the two parties that would be shameful according to the flashmobbers. The organizer of the event Andrian Buligari said he wrote about his intention to protest on his blog and the young people rallied through social networking sites. He expressed his indignation at the political situation in the country. “By flashmobbing, we want to sensitize the public opinion and urge Vlad Filat to respect the agreement on the formation of the Alliance for European Integration and not to betray the people,” said Andrian Buligari. The flashmob meeting ended with the throwing of papers with messages in the bins located in front of the Palace of the Republic.
