Fifth “Whitsunday” Festival starts in Domulgeni

The National Association of Rural, Ecological and Cultural Tourism invites to the fifth National Tourist Festival of Traditions “Whitsunday” that is held in Domulgeni village of Floresti district, on the bank of the Raut River. The event starts at 12 noon. All the guests will be met by children guides at the entrance to the village, IPN reports.

The visitors of the tourist village will be able to see the farm of a beekeeper, the workshop of a carpenter and of a wood sculptor, a museum that is over 100 years old and the local church “Saint Nicolae”. The gourmands will taste different local dishes.

Craftsmen will stage demonstrative workshops for making carpets, embroideries, national costumes, and ceramics. There will be mounted exhibitions where the visitors will be able to purchase authentic objects. The organizers of the festival prepared an artistic program for those fond of traditions, customs and folk songs.
