FC Ungheni failed to score a victory in the second stage of Division A. The team trained by Igor Ursachi drew with Granicerul 1-1 in Chisinau, IPN reports.
Granicerul opened the score in the 53rd minute through Gaicean. Ungheni, which aims to return to the National Division, tied in the last but one minute of the game through Gaidarji. “It is very hard to play when the temperatures are so high. Furthermore, we had a worthy opponent,” stated the coach of FC Ungheni Igor Ursachi.
Victoria Chisinau is the only team that obtained a maximum of points after two stages. The team trained by Alexandr Novicov won away by 2-1 against Iskra. Striker Gennady Orbu scored two goals.
