Milsami striker Gheorghe Boghiu and Zimbru halfback Ademar Xavier have signed for FC Tiraspol. The vice champion strengthened thus its lineup for the Europa League competitions, IPN reports.
“I had a number of offers, but I chose FC Tiraspol because I like how this team plays. My contract with Milsami expired,” Gheorghe Boghiu stated for the official website of the Tiraspol team.
Boghiu, 32, was the top scorer of Milsami during the last three seasons, with 55 goals scored. Brazilian footballer Ademar Xavier, 29, won recently Moldova’s Cup as part of Zimbru.
Instead, FC Tiraspol parted from Marza, Perkov, Emelin, Arnautu and Grosu Senior. The team trained by Vlad Goian already resumed the training for the new season and scheduled five friendlies, against: Botosani (June 14), Veris (June 18), Sheriff (June 21), Dacia (June 26), and Tom Tomsk (June 27).
