A man aged 35 from Causeni district was sentenced to 19 years in prison for raping his 11-year-old daughter. He will be castrated chemically three months before the end of his jail term, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The girl lived together with her parents and the younger siblings. She told what happened to a relative and her mother, who informed the police.
The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
