Farmers submitted applications for subsidies of 78m lei

The beneficiaries of the 100 million lei with which the agriculture subsidization fund has been recently supplemented have lodged applications for subsidies to the value of 78 million lei, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to the deputy minister, the applicants will receive the asked for money, while the rest of the financial resources will be used to pay subsidies to the producers that will file applications in November-December. Subsidies of 330 million lei have been paid this year so far. Most of the subsidies were granted for repaying loans, growing vegetables in greenhouses and multiannual crops and fruit trees.
