A six-member family was admitted to the hospital with mushroom poisoning. Five persons are in a serious state in the toxicology section of Saint Trinity Hospital. The sixth person was affected to a lesser extent, Chisinau Health Division head Luminita Suveica has said, quoted by IPN.
The poisonous mushrooms were collected in a forest in Chisinau. Luminita Suveica warned that the mushrooms that were earlier edible became unsuitable for eating owing to mutations.
