Family Day celebrated in Ungheni by movement, games and sport

Children and parents in Ungheni will mark the Family Day by movement, games and sport within the Fair Play event of Move Project. The project is implemented by the Delegation of the Swiss Foundation “Terre des homes” in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the organization. The event that will take place on the Central Stadium in Ungheni on May 15 will involve 72 children aged between 9 and 12, 24 parents and 12 animators of Move Project. It is aimed at attracting the main players’ attention to the situation of the children and the methods of improving it by activities based on movement, games and sport (MGS), which encourages cooperation and develops the personal and social abilities of the children. The communiqué says that the problems encountered by the socially deprived children and children whose parents are aboard are a priority for “Terre des homes” in Moldova. The implementation of the MGS methodology helps the children to develop respect for themselves, confidence, tolerance, cooperation, honesty, and responsibility
