Families with many children and orphan children to receive lump sums

The families with many children and the orphan children will receive lump sums. The Government has endorsed a decision in this respect at its sitting on December 17, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under the request of the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Children, the government, has amended the annex to its decision of March 5, 2008 which provides for using special means, collected from international adoptions of orphan children from Moldova by foreign citizens. Thus, from these sources, lump sum aid will be offered to support poor families with many children. The help will also be given to orphan children till they turn 18, and if they continue their studies in educational institutions, they will be supported till graduation. The size of the help and conditions will be specified soon.
