The Chisinau municipality will provide by 10,000 lei in financial assistance to the 28 families whose attic-like apartments were destroyed by fire on May 1. The money will be allocated from the municipal reserve fund, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, the money represents only a part of the assistance that the Chisinau City Hall will offer to the fire victims. The decision to provide financial assistance to persons living on the floors below the attic-like apartment story, whose apartments were flooded when the fire was being put out, will be taken later.
A final decision on the method by which the attic-like apartments will be restored will be taken when the cause of fire is found out.
