False bomb threat at CNAS

At 11:15, on September 5, the 112 service received a call which announced that a bomb had been planted in the National House of Social Insurance headquarters.

“Engineers and police crews were dispatched to the scene. All the procedures specific to such cases were followed, implying evacuating CNAS employees and securing the perimeter”, stated Mariana Bețivu, General Police Inspectorate press officer.

Bombteh service specialists checked the building and its surroundings, yet failed to identify any explosive materials.

Police officers commenced an investigation in order to identify the man who made the false bomb threat at CNAS.
