The employees of a bank operating in Chisinau were evacuated after the police were informed about a suspect bag found inside the banking institution. Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir has told IPN that the bank was searched.
“The bank’s guards noticed a bag that they considered suspicious in the anteroom and alerted the police. The bank’s building has been examined,” stated Jovmir.
A bomb squad and police teams traveled to the scene. The area was enclosed. After searching the building, the police announced that it was a false bomb threat.
