Another drone was found on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. This time the projectile was detected on the outskirts of Podgoreni village in Orhei district, IPN reports.
The police in Orhei said that they were informed about the detection of the drone at around 10:00 a.m. Subsequently, the information was communicated to the competent authorities and the access of citizens to the area where the drone fell was restricted.
All the specialized services are on site and explosive ordnance engineers of the Technical-Forensic and Judicial Expertise Center of the General Police Inspectorate are to thoroughly examine the aerial vehicle.
In November, four other drones were detected on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in the districts of Căușeni, Criuleni, Râșcani, and also in the municipality of Chisinau.
The police call on the citizens who identify aircraft or other suspicious devices that fell to the ground not to approach them and not to touch them, but to immediately notify the police on the emergency number 112.
