The extraparliamentary parties must be permanently active, not only in the electoral period, deputy head of the People’s Movement Party “Antimafie” Daniela Bodrug said in the public debate “Priorities of the political class and Moldovan society in an electoral year. Position of the opposition” that was staged by IPN News Agency in cooperation with Radio Moldova.

Daniela Bodrug said the priorities of a party in the civilized world remain the same, regardless of the period. Moldova faces a series of unsolved problems as, during 20 years, all the parties set their priorities depending on conjuncture and circumstances, changing their priorities in line with the circumstances. “The Movement “Antimafie” has only one priority – not to allow the Communists to return to power and to eradicate the mafia in Moldova so as to give the people the chance to form part of the great European family,” she stated.

Bodrug also said that the ruling parties are deceitful as they forgot that they must fulfill their promises when they entered Parliament. “The extraparliamentary parties are active and make themselves noticed only in the electoral period. The Movement “Antimafie” was created three years ago. In order to achieve our goals, we must enter Parliament. We must be like a bone in the neck of these parties. We must jail those who committed crimes and offer the people the chance to be free in a European country,” she stated.

The politician underlined that the legislative electrons are a chance for Moldova to get rid of the current political class, which steals and lies, by peaceful ways.

Member of the National Political Council of the Democratic Action Party Mihai Magdei said the extraparliamentary parties have to work hard to offer the people what the current government was unable to. “Our top priorities for the next elections are to integrate into the EU, to improve the personnel policy based on professionalism, not on political affiliation, to solve the social problems, to reanimate the food processing companies and to create jobs,” he stated, adding that the current administration started to explain the policy on European integration to the people too late and could thus not prevent the holding of the two referendums in Gagauzia.

The public debate “Priorities of the political class and Moldovan society in an electoral year. Position of the opposition” is the 26th of the series of debates “Development of political culture by public debates” that are supported by the German foundation Hanns Seidel.
