The decision taken by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission does not provide an instruction or a mechanism for presenting COVID-19 documentation by consumers or the control procedure on the part of the responsible bodies, said the National Association of Restaurants and Leisure Places of the Republic of Moldova (MĂR).
In a public statement that is quoted by IPN, the Association says that such general notions as “nightclub” and “dance hall” do not make it clear what types of public eating places will be subject to inspections or which of their activities. The Association is ready to continue the dialogue with the authorities so that the hospitality industry enjoys greater clarity and predictability.
The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission declared a state of public health emergency nationwide for the period between September 10 and October 30, 2021. Under its decision, the persons who are aged 18 and up will have access to events held in the open air, such as performances, concerts and festivals, and events held in closed places, such as nightclubs, dancing halls, theaters, cinemas, concert halls and others, based on the COVID-19 vaccine certificate on paper or in a digital format valid 14 days after full immunization. Access will also be permitted if the person has either the negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test done within 72 hours, the negative result of a rapid antigen test done within 48 hours, on paper or in a digital format, or a medical conclusion when a person had COVID-19 during the past six months or a document confirming the presence of antibodies valid for 90 days.
