Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the October 4 meeting of the Cabinet, congratulated those who work in the education sector on the occasion of the Teachers’ Day that is celebrated on October 5, IPN reports.
“I wish them success in their teaching activity, accomplishments and good health,” stated the Premier. He noted that the problems existing in the sector are a challenge for the Government and solutions should be identified to them.
In this connection, Pavel Filip underlined the necessity of increasing the salaries of people working in the education sector.
“On the one hand, we should do reforms so as to know that we have a modern education system without which we cannot imagine Moldova’s future. On the other hand, we should implement reforms so as to have the financial capacity to remunerate the teachers according to their merits,” stated the Prime Minister.
