Nicolae Calin was re-confirmed in the post of main administrator of the free economic zone Expo-Business Chisinau, IPN reports.
Nicolae Calin has held this post for 10 years.
The free economic zone Expo-Business Chisinau is the first economic organization of the kind founded in Moldova.
The economic zone includes national resident companies and investors from Russia, the U.S., Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, Israel, the UK and others. Residents’ investments in the zone came to over US$43 million so far.
The zone’s main activities are: production of electronic equipment and articles from polymeric plastic, bottling of alcoholic drinks, making and assembling of furniture, production of corks, etc.
