The Government’s work program for 2015-2018 is good and consistent if it’s fully implemented, said experts invited to the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel. The program will be presented in the February 12 sitting of Parliament, IPN reports.
Pro-rector of the University of European Studies of Moldova Valeriu Cerba said this program is good because it suggests solutions for fighting corruption and combating poverty and this can convince the opposition to vote for it.
Economic expert Viorel Chiviriga said this program should have appeared after November 30 as a lot of time was lost. “It is a program with many measures and directions. There is continuity and new directions. We had good programs, but few accomplishments. It’s about the integrity of those who will implement the program. A program can look well, but we will see who will carry it out,” he said, noting that the program contains important measures in economy, including the reorganization of the Moldova Import and Export Promotion Organization. He also said that the proposals to amend the Labor Code, the Customs Code and the Tax Code are welcome.
Executive director of “Promo LEX” Association Ion Manole said the program was adjusted to the serious problems faced by society and is aimed at combating corruption and removing the problems in the banking system. “It is a document designed to calm people down or to make them sleep for a period. There is no time left and this document must be adopted. Moldova needs a government and political forces that would assume responsibility for what will happen in the immediate future,” he stated.
The Government’s work program was made public on February 10. So far only the PLDM and PDM said they will vote for the Leanca 2 Government. Together these parties have 42 seats of MP, but the Government is invested by at least 51 votes of MP.
