The Chisinau heat supplier Termocom warns decision makers from the local and central public administration and the general public that the situation in the thermoelectric sector is serious, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a communique, Termocom says the exorbitant premiums transferred to bailiffs will make the price of a gigacalorie of heat to rise. On March 14, the District Economic Court ordered that the thermoelectric plant CET-2 levy the debt of over 700 million lei from Termocom. This debt accumulated in the period when the head supplier was managed by creditors, including the main creditor CET-2.
Termocom says CET-2 avoided solving the problem amicably. On March 28, CET-2 and the bailiff withdrew 90 million lei of the 252 million lei that is to be taken out of the heat supplier's accounts immediately. The bailiff's honorarium is 3%. If the entire sum of 252 million lei is withdrawn, the honorarium will be over 7.5 million lei. Termocom said the same bailiff on March 21 withdrew almost 10.5 million lei from the company's accounts. The honorarium of about 335,000 lei was also taken out of Termocom's accounts.
“When the heat charges are reviewed, the price of a gigacalorie of heat will be increased again and this will seriously affect the end-users and the Chisinau heat supplier,” it is said in the communique.
Termocom also warns that will be unable to repair and prepare the heating system for the next heating season.
