The Government approved the estimated costs of the vacation in summer camps for children and teens. Ticket prices oscillate between 97 and 160 lei a day, depending on the type of the camp. The local authorities, which will set the final prices, are recommended to sell the tickets at the price of 10%-20% of the cost of the vacation in summer camps. 25% of all the tickets will be given free to children with outstanding results at school and to children from poor families. The summer camps will open after May 22, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education will purchase 100 tickets for students from Romania who will vacation at summer camps in Moldova, based on the protocol of cooperation signed by the Ministries of Education of Moldova and Romania.
There will also be bought 300 tickets for students of Transnistrian schools and of education institutions of Bender town, which are controlled by the Ministry of Education.
The Government approved the nominal composition of the governmental commission for organizing the vacation in summer camps for children and teens. Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici was designated as head of the commission, while Minister of Education Maia Sandu as deputy head.
