The Cabinet approved the provision of seven Excellence Scholarships of the Government to the value of 2,500 lei and of six nominal scholarships, by areas, of 2,000 lei each for doctoral students in 2018, IPN reports.
The contest involved 21 students from six education institutions that provide higher doctoral studies. The files were assessed by five groups of experts chosen according to the scientific area and the presented doctoral programs.
To increase in the future the number of participants in the contest, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research suggested proportionally distributing the scholarships between the six agreed scientific areas and accepting the files of doctoral students in part-time education and of those who pay tuition.
